The research tools are free and stay free. The test tools give you three runs a month at no cost, so you can walk a portfolio the whole way through before deciding whether any of this is worth paying for.
Everything you need to understand the environment, and enough of the test path to know whether the rest is for you.
The same tools with the counter switched off, plus look-through on what you already own.
For building the strategies that fill an allocation, keeping them, and being told when something moves.
A run is a portfolio, and the settings you are asking about it. Not a request, not a click, and not a page load. Every tool spends one when you ask it something new and nothing when you look at the same thing again.
Running the same thing again never counts. Re-open a backtest you ran last week, flip back to a scenario you already looked at, reload the page: none of it spends anything. The counter is for new questions, and it resets on the first of the month.
No. It does not expire and it does not ask for a card. The macro dashboard, Chart Lab and the factor tool are free permanently, and the three monthly runs come back every month whether or not you ever pay for anything.
Because capping it at 1970 would be no limit at all for most of the people this is built for, and a real one for the few doing long horizon work, which is precisely backwards. The ceiling is the number of questions, not the data behind them.
Whenever you like, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Your saved work is not deleted when a subscription ends; it stops being reachable from the tools that are no longer in your plan, and comes back if you return.
No. Everything here is historical analysis and educational material: a description of what happened, not a recommendation about what to do. Nothing on this platform is personalised advice, and no part of it knows anything about your circumstances.
Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that applies where you are. Market and macro data is licensed from its sources and every source is credited in the tool that uses it; some series may be charted and embedded but not downloaded, and each tool says which.
