Privacy Policy

1 Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Platform, we may collect:

• Account and contact information — such as your name, username, email address, password, and settings.
• Billing and subscription information — your plan, transaction and renewal history, and limited payment details (your full card number is handled by our payment processor, not us — see Section 5).
• Communications and support content — messages and requests you send us.
• Content you create — the portfolios, allocations, watchlists, screening and strategy criteria, assumptions, saved strategies, notes, reports, and visualizations you build on the Platform.
• Information you choose to make public — strategies or reports you elect to share (see Section 6).

We also automatically collect technical and usage information when you use the Platform, such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, settings, the pages and tools you use, actions you take, session and diagnostic logs, and approximate location derived from your IP address.

2 Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Platform and understand how it’s used. These include strictly necessary cookies (required for the Platform and sign-in to work), preference cookies (to remember your settings), and analytics cookies (to measure and improve performance). You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, our cookie controls. Turning off some cookies may affect how the Platform works.

3 How we use your information

We use your information to:

• provide and operate the Platform, including running and saving your backtests, simulations, and analyses;
• create and secure your account and authenticate you;
• process subscriptions, billing, and renewals;
• respond to your requests and provide support;
• measure, analyze, and improve the Platform, its tools, and its models;
• communicate with you about your account and, where permitted, marketing (Section 11);
• detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and
• comply with the law and enforce our agreements.

4 How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share it with:

• Service providers who work on our behalf — such as hosting, cloud infrastructure, payment processing, analytics, and support — under contracts that limit their use of it;
• Legal and safety recipients — to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our Terms, or protect rights and safety;
• Parties to a corporate transaction — such as a merger, financing, or sale of assets; and
• Others, at your direction — including content you choose to make public.

Depending on how analytics technologies are configured, some disclosures may count as “sharing” under certain state privacy laws. Where that’s the case, we honor the opt-out and control mechanisms described in Sections 2 and 10.

5 Payment processing

Subscription payments are handled by a third-party payment processor (such as Stripe). Your card details are collected and processed directly by the processor under its own terms and privacy policy — we do not receive or store your full card number. We receive limited information such as confirmation of payment, subscription status, and partial card identifiers.

6 Your content and shared models

You control whether the models, strategies, and reports you create stay private to your account or are made public or shareable. Anything you make public or share by link may be visible to other users, to anyone with the link, and to search engines, and may be cached or copied by third parties outside our control. Please keep that in mind before including any personal or sensitive information in content you share. You can change visibility or remove content you control, though previously shared or cached copies may persist.

7 Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Platform, maintain your account, meet our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it. You can request deletion of your account and associated information as described in Section 10.

8 Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you and any authorities as required by law.

9 Where your information is processed

We are based in the United States, and we and our service providers may store and process your information in the United States and other countries, which may have different data-protection laws than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

10 Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information — such as the rights to access it, request a copy, correct it, delete it, and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. California residents have these rights under the CCPA/CPRA, and residents of certain other U.S. states and of the EEA and UK may have similar rights under their own laws.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us as described in Section 14. We will verify your request before responding and may ask for information to confirm your identity, and you may use an authorized agent where the law allows.

11 Marketing and your choices

Where permitted, we may send you marketing messages about the Platform. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in those messages or by contacting us. Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send you service-related messages about your account, subscription, security, or these policies.

12 AI features and your information

The Platform may include features that use artificial intelligence. Where those features process information you submit, we use it to provide and improve them, subject to applicable law and the limits in this Policy and our Terms. We will give you any notice or choice required by law before using your personal information in a materially new way for AI development.

13 Children’s privacy

The Platform is intended for users who are at least 18 and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us.

14 Third-party links, changes, and contact

The Platform may link to third-party websites and services we don’t control; this Policy doesn’t apply to them, so please review their privacy policies. We may update this Policy from time to time — we’ll revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, give additional notice through the Platform or by email. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
